François Le Vot, high flying champion

François Le Vot, former Air Force pilot, now flying a Formula 1, is preparing to compete in the second stage of the world championship of air racing, organized for the first time in France. The Redbull Air Race is a spectacular event that sees aircraft, launched at over 300 km / h, spin around air-filled pylons to try to achieve the best time. We went to meet this hero of French airs at Candillargues aerodrome, near Mauguio-Carnon, where the champion is training, surrounded by his team. The aviator is a reference in his environment. Former fighter pilot, he spent twelve years of his career in operational mode in the service of France. In 2002, he joined the Air Force aerobatic team for a lease of another twelve years that will be crowned, in 2013, by the title of world champion aerobatics won in the United States. For fans or the curious, go to Cannes on April 21 for the second stage of the world championship, where 100,000 spectators are expected.
